Scouting update

I have finally have finished my last merit badge.  All that's left is getting a Eagle Scout board of review to have a Eagle Scout court of honor.

Progress on Rufus in Terralupis - character profiles

As it is, I've decided to make character profiles for everyone in Rufus in Terralupis. This is so that the final draft update for chapter 3 has more detailed characters than there is now. This will help me figure out the ending, as the third book will begin sometime after the upcoming battle. If there is a forth  it will be to wrap up where I'm at, when I get to the last word for the next update. So far I've got three finished. With 20 or so more plus characters that have effected the characters in the story that haven't been mentioned yet, like the previous owner of Jim the Derkal for an example.

Rufus in Terralupis update 4

I have updated the entire Story of Rufus in Teralupis

it now has 1456 words and 17 paragraphs. Also it's 3 pages long. I'm not nearly finished as I hope to be with this story, and it's already over my goal by 200 words give or take, as you can see here on the Ending of the Adventures of Molly post which also be found on the "You might also like:" below 

Progress on Rufus in Terralupis Rough Draft update 1

I have finished the Rough draft for Chapter 2 in Rufus in Teralupis, and have started the outline for Chapter 3. This is a preview of what the book will soon look like :
Dogs and the Trio are transported to Teralupis, and find Rufus knocked out while the dogs are trapped. We go back in time before everything went bad for Rufus, he  gains new company, goes to save family and princess, they are only able to save a Rufus's brother. They fly away and get chased and attacked, Rufus gets knocked off his ride and falls to his doom. Almost killed wakes up finding  the trio in front of him, tells the story of what happen to him. While doing this the only dog that managed not to be captured interrupts Rufus and after he finishes his story, they go to free the dogs
This is just a summary of what I have planned so for what will be in the updated story.
For Chapter 3, what I got so far is after the group saves the other dogs and everyone at the hairless one's death camp. Now at 200 strong they go back to Farmadile after armoring up

Progress on Rufus in Terralupis Rough Draft

I've been working on Rufus in Terralupis and now I'm almost finished with chapter 2. Once I do this, then the next thing that will happen is that chapter 1 will have an update to go with what I now have, to the word doc for this e-book and that will go onto wattpad and goodreads.  Chapter 3 will come along with a possibility for a 4th chapter, itf needs be for a better ending than The Adventures of Molly as the intro of book two should have been part the ending in that book. Up until that point the longest thing I've ever written was an essay. Also when I finish the A.o.M art video, the thing next  is adding more charters to the cover. and a piece of cover art for Reviews by Justyn my latest online project. After that Art wise will come from my Pinterest Board : Things that inspire me.

Camp Fife 2013

I went to Camp Fife scout camp from July 8-13
July 8
I had a fun time at camp. To start off, I enjoy camping out in the woods because I come from Hermiston, OR where it's desert unlike Camp Fife. I saw a bird nest and a chipmunk. They ran out of bacon for seconds :( at breakfast. I'm taking the Astronomy, Emergency Prep, Orienteering and Weather Merit Bage classes.

The Camp fire was cool! All the skits took place in Baconlandia my favorite parts were the two "fat" guys that made nursery rhymes blow up, the Quack Magican, and the "if I wasn't a camper" song.

July 9
For Lunch the Mac and cheese with ham was really good. In the Weather Merit Bage class we made weather vanes. I finally saw a swallowtail butterfly

I went to the trading post, got some stuff to help me in the Astronomy Merit Bage. Dinner was O.K., one of my favorite things about camp Fife is Jello with whipped cream.  

Boulder Cave

July 10
Today has been fun !For adventure day I got to bend metal.We got to go to Boulder Cave, while  there I saw a chipmunk and a squirrel. The water fall is cool ! I love wildlife. Swallowtail butterflies seem to be common here at Camp Fife. Everyone had a fun time around the fire, at the astronomy outing was great. Had to draw the big dipper and look for constellations. I finished the outline of my 2nd chapter.

Bumping Lake

  July 11

This Morning there was a Polar bear plunge at 

Bumping Lake. So far the pool has been colder than the lake water. Seconds on bacon is great :) I did a lot of drawing today. Cloudy nights don't work so well for Binoculars. Also there was an extreme version of  hide and go seek called staff hunt. All the scouts went to find the staff and whoever caught one would gain their troop points or lose points.
 July 12

I finished two of my Merit Bages, we had fun at the camp wide games, at the campfire my troop did a skit where zombies come to eat some people the 1st person get eaten. The zombies go to the 2nd person, tells them he has swag. So the zombies didn't eat him because he was brainless. It was also my birthday today.

We came back from scout camp on the 13th.

I have finished Chapter 1 of  Rufus in Teralupis find it on  wattpad and goodreads 

I have decided to make updates to Rufus in Teralupis when I finish chapters, this is so that it comes out with more detail per update I plan to do one to two chapters before I add an Epilogue to this story unlike the Adventures of Molly. 

I made a blog on Wordpress It's called DArHook it's now my main art blog.

The A.o.M. with R.i.T Extras

I have uploaded a special update to The Adventures of Molly on Smashwords. 

It now has a  Backstory, sample from Rufus in Teralupis, and more. I will add the Backstory to Wattpad, and a Goodreads version of this story. The only way to update a book on Goodreads is to delete it and replace it or put it on a different version of that book.  As I found some tracking problems on Microsoft word that have messed up my book really bad along with style problems. So I fixed those problems.

Why this won't be the cover is because I'm thinking of  drawing a background to this, and Rufus has lines from the paper I used to draw him on.

Fixed the A.o.M.

The only thing left to fix on The Adventures of Molly (A.o.M) was that the cover was too small, and so that was the last problem I had with  the A.o.M. Now it's 2100x3000.

Ideas for second book

As it was around time for me to go to bed, I was unable to start on my drawing. I will start on it tomorrow morning. While on the way, and back of the camping trip, I came up with  Ideas for my second book like the name of it for an example, Rufus of Teralupis. It will start right before the spot where The Adventures of Molly ended.

Another Template

I decided to change the template, because the last template was annoying, for the most part because it never showed all the widgets and badges I have for this blog. If a person who reads this blog  Justyn the Author doesn't comment that they read this I will be convinced that AI robots are the only things that view this blog. On the other hand, I was unable to work on that drawing because I got to go on a camping trip, I have a lot of homework to do for the weekend because I'm a Junior in high school. I will eather post it before I go to sleep or tomorrow sometime.

Drawing update 1

As said before, here is my progress

This is a mix media drawing. The pit-bull is pencil, the lab is charcoal, and Molly will be colored pencil and the background will be a mix of color pencil, water color and pen.

After I finish each dog, I will add the picture and a link to where I found it to make that dog. Such as the pit-bull  and my document I made  for all the dogs

Today I joined  goodreads you can find my Goodreads author profile here.

I also linked this blog to my author profile page. Ever since I added my progress, of my drawing I'm working on it seems that I get about 100 views per day. What I find interesting is that I have been on blogger for 2 months and no one has ever commented on any of my blogs. So if you can please comment that you have read this, and if there is anything that could make this blog better.

New Template

If you have seen  my blog lately you will have noticed that I have changed the Template. I have done this so that each of my blogs look different. What I also have done, is on my blog about Molly, I also changed the layout on there also. What I think is cool, is that this blog has over 200 views, and keeps getting higher and higher every time I checked this blog today. 

Finishing that drawing

As of today I will show my progress on my drawing I have mentioned that is keeping me from starting my cover art drawing.

Until I finish it I will post my progress of it every Saturday and likewise with the cover art drawing  for my next book.

What I have been up to lately  is adding more gadgets to my blogs, like RSS feeds, Twitter and Facebook stuff. This is how it is, this blog is about my life as an author and most of my personal life.

I'm thinking of doing a Fantasy Adventure Book that has to do with the land of Terralupis

I will start it by drawing it's cover which I will start on after finishing this drawing that I making of to compare Molly to a Pit-bull and a Lab to show how good my drawings are

My goal for the Adventures of Molly was to get over a thousand words, my next goal is to get over a 1,100 words
